Back from Miami
What a trip. Never could have thought covering a Super Bowl would be so rewarding and exciting. To see the behind the scene activities, was just an exciting experience. Being in the locker room after the game was great, boy the guys were exciting talking about the big party Sunday night and the party in the Big Easy. Great win for the Saints and the City of New Orleans. Glad a chance to do what I did this weekend. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to Cover Super Bowl 45 in Dallas next year.

Good First half, The Who were awesome
The first half was dominated by the Colts. A very interesting call by the New Orleans to go for it on 4th and goal. Didn't happen, but the Saints got a field goal to make it a 10 - 6 colts lead at the break. But, the halftime show was great. The Who rocked the place. Very good choice by the NFL to have one of the best bands of all-time highlight halftime. Game back on more to come later.
Super Bowl Sunday is HERE
Well it's game day and we're inching closer to the start. I've arrived at the stadium, went through the loops to get in. Only took about 45 minutes. Never the less, I'm here, in and ready to do. The Who Dat Nation is everywhere. But, the colts fans are well represented. I'm about to go inside the stadium. Interested to see what it's all about. check in throughout the day for updates from Miami Gardens Florida and Sun Life Stadium.

It's neary time for Super Bowl 44!
Well folks it's nearly time for kickoff. We're about 22 hours from Super Bowl 44 and this town is ready to get things rolling. Ran into quite a few Saints fans today, nice folks excited about their team and rightly so. One guys was the president of the Saints Quarterback club in New Orleans, so of course he was having a great time. The whole hurricane warming, Brees coming, Shockey wave thing has taken off. Heard it a lot today. This day is nearly complete. A few more things to do before I call it a night. Need to sleep and gear up for tomorrow. That of course is the reason I here. Until Super Bowl Sunday. Hope you all have a good night.
Smith, Rice heading into Hall of Fame
Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice highlight the list for the 2010 Pro Football Hall of Fame. Both were selected today, joining five other men. It's really special for me. Growing up in Dallas and being a Cowboys fan. Having and opportunity to cover my first Super Bowl and watch Emmitt get selected for the Hall of Fame on the same weekend is a dream come true. It just makes this weekend even more exciting. Can't wait until Sunday to see my first game up close.

Pro Hall of Fame
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Press Conference is scheduled for Saturday at 4:00 eastern. Former Cowboys Emmitt Smith and Charles Haley are up for induction. There is no doubt Smith will be inducting. The NFL All-Time leading rusher will be in Canton come August. Haley should be in as well. He's the only player in NFL history with Five Super Bowl rings. His play spoke for itself. I'm looking forward to the presser to see some of the former NFL guys. Jerry Rice is also up, no doubt he'll join Smith, making the big show in the first year of eligibility. Cris Carter, Tim Brown, Andre Reed, Richard Dent, the former Bear, John Randle and Shannan Sharpe as just a few others who will find out tomorrow if they head to Canton. Of course we'll have plenty of coverage on the announcement tomorrow at 6:00. Tune in then...
Busy Friday in Florida
Busy and crazy. I had a chance to sit down and interview Mike Pierria, VP of Officials for the NFL. He and his wife are good friends with my parents. My folks are here for the game, along with their friends. Had lunch at Don Shula's place, nice eating establishment. While eating, Troy Aikman and Daryl Johnson, came in and sat a few table over. That was pretty cool. A lot of former players are staying at my parents hotel, since it's the NFL headquarters. Never the less, we're back at work, enough play time for one afternoon. Sean Payton and Jim Caldwell met with us today. We'll have all the details from their press conference later tonight. Check back often with more on my trip to Super Bowl 44.
